Question of the day was What is your favorite shape? Some friends mentioned it was a heart. That wasn't one of the options making friends have to think about which is their favorite shape out of the options provided. Giving us the opportunity to ask. How does that make them feel and how do they resolve the problem?
During story time we read stories by new authors, Charlotte, Brooklyn and Ren. Charlotte created a series of books about two potatoes that were friends. Brooklyn wrote a story called The Adventure, about going for a walk and finding balloons. Ren shared his story of The three little gorillas and the big bad chicken.
The class was inspired by the stories and started to name titles of stories they would like to create.
Grace: The three little chickens and the big bad gorilla.
Brooklyn: The three little koalas and the big bad flying fish.
Livio: The three little bugs and the big bad carrot.
Maxi: The three little minions and the big bad bug.
Kaia: The three little kitties and the big bad broccoli.
Grace: The three little sticks and the big bad tissues.
Livio: The three little potatoes and the big bad flower.
