GAMES AND PUZZLES

Every morning we play music to signal it is time to clean up and get ready for our morning meeting.  Ren, Max and Maxi were really enjoying the music.

We previewed what we thought Mr. Andrews might see on his visit to  the farm today.
What do you think Mr.Andrews will see?

REN: Maybe carrots.
JENNA:Cows.
REN: Chickens.
BROOKLYN: Chickens.
MAX:Cows.
LIVIO: Horses.
KAIA:Pigs, horses, and ducks.
BROOKLYN: Tractor.
ANNIE:Cow machines that clean up the pee.
MAX: Machines that clean up the poop.
KAIA: Corn, and a kitty.

We will find out if we were correct when we watch the video on Monday morning.

Inspired by our conversation Lucy and Jenna spent most of the morning playing with the farm.

Zingo!, The quiet cricket and Dominoes were among some of the games played today.  It is heart warming to see so many friendships developing between students.

Painting model magic vegetables continued.  Annie painted her "ghost tomatoes".

Brooklyn painted her "Whole family of tomatoes."

Before P.E. we read Sophies Squash about a little girl and her butternut squash.

QUESTIONS
What happened to Bernice at the end of the book?
Which vegetable grows in the middle of a plant?
Why do farmers grow this vegetable?

See you at conferences.
