We introduced the Invention center today starting with small pieces that they can glue onto card or paper.
Over the next few weeks we will build up to larger inventions leading up to Halloween. If you have any recyclables that you want to give to Pre-K, they will be gratefully received. We will quarantine them as we are doing with the items we put out today. offering a matching option for the following days.
Tasting stone soup was also an option. Kaia definitely approved of the soup. She won the record for the most bowls eaten. THREE!
We offered model magic at the big art table. The children looked closely at all the fruits and vegetables. Deciding which one they wanted to try and create.
At the end of the morning we read Jon J. Muth versions of Stone soup. This version has three monks which travel to a village. Helping the villagers learn how opening their hearts can lead to sharing with one another, and happiness.
QUESTIONS
