When we told the class we were celebrating Mila and Grace's 5th birthday. Anne asked "Does that mean we get two popsicles." I had to give them the sad news that we would only be getting one popsicle. Some friends were not happy about this expressing that they felt it was unfair. We may have to brainstorm some ways to rectify the situation by the end of the school year.
This week we introduced Question of the day. Today's question was, Does your animal have fur? Yes or No?
During work choice time friends could decide if they wanted to be inside or outside.
We placed a balance beam across the sand area and friends challenged themselves to get all the way across without falling off. A thin round branch is hard to stay balanced. Mila and Maddie thought of a great strategy, using the shovels to give them more stability as they moved along the beam.
Brooklyn came to Jenna's rescue and helped push the swing for her. Using the hoe as a way to push the swing was a very creative idea while making sure she didn't get bumped by the swing.
Livio and Bowe worked with me to build a hideout. When we had finished building Livio quickly called his friends over to try it out.
Baby washing was requested yesterday afternoon. As they are constantly being cleaned it allows us to have them out every day.
Before P.E. we celebrated Mila and Grace's 5th Birthday. There actual birthday is tomorrow, here is a picture of the girls 5 years ago. So cute! Can you remember which one is Mila and which one is Grace?
